rectly there was a GT6 water pump with a smaller pulley that would increase=
the flow of water due to the increased rpm of the pump shaft. On my =
tr6 I have to order the gt6 water pump to get the same pump that is on my t=
r6. The pulley diameter is smaller than the parts supplier offered fo=
r the tr6 of the same year. This is the original engine in =
; the tr6, but may have changed the water pump from original before I bough=
t the car. In 100 degree F the water temp stays the same as other mon=
ths of the year. I do have the 3/8 inch belt diameter though. I=
have not used the uprated water pump and have a stock engine. Just m=

sive but totally worth it. I'm in Dallas so heat dissipation is=

te, someone postulated that since the water moved more quickly, it sp=
ent less time in the radiator and that was a bad thing. My engi=
neer nephew explained that the faster the fluid moved, the lower the =
temperature. So more vanes, more fluid movement. Better d=
