Right before you bolt the slave to the tranny bleed it by holding it in =
your hand and tilt the bleed screw so its the highest point of the whole =
assembly Takes a helper and some dexterity but if you leave a bit of air =
in the slave (which can easily happen when its done on the car) it =
compresses instead of the fluid being pushed when you push the pedal. A =
little temperature change and suddenly what worked doesn=92t work =
because things got heated up a bit. TR clutches can be touchy about =
incompletely bled slave cylinders.

The Triumph Club of the Carolinas annual event 'The Gathering' is at =
Sheldon Vineyards in Dobson, NC. Info =
atwww.triumphclub.org<http://www.triumphclub.org>. It's a 3 day event, =
but Friday is mostly a self-guided tour around some nice mountain and =
foot-hill back roads and Sunday morning is a really fun auto-cross. The =
main car show is all day Saturday of course. Just to be clear, this is =
April 15, 16, & 17. The vineyard is about 10 miles south of the NC/VA =
line on I-77.

The clutch hydraulic system is very short so it won't be hard to find. =

you are certain that there is no fluid leak or air in the system, then =

It's a 3 day event, but Friday is mostly a self-guided tour around some =
nice mountain and foot-hill back roads and Sunday morning is a really =
fun auto-cross. The main car show is all day Saturday of course. Just to =
be clear, this is April 15, 16, & 17. The vineyard is about 10 miles =
south of the NC/VA line on I-77.

Maybe reply if you might be =
there. I will be as long as the weather is nice. I think I'll drive the =
