Rick---Is there a reason that you have not connected the CHOKE, yet? You
may need to do so to start a cold engine. Or, you could (temporarily)
adjust the carb mix to full rich, by screwing the adjusters at the
bottom of the damper tubes all the way down.

Disconnect the fuel line going to the carbs and crank the engine, to be
sure fuel is getting this far. You may need to purge the air from the
new fuel lines. Catch this fuel in a container of sorts.

Just in case something happened to the ignition system after you checked
the timing, try pulling off any of the plug wires and crank the engine.
Be sure spark jumps from the wire to any ground source, like the valve
cover.

Air/fuel, compression, spark. It's somewhere in these!

This is no enjoy!
I got my ZS (rebuilds) carbs by Joe Curto. Its looking good now. But he
said to do my "mixture - lean/rich" and the car will be running good.
I check in Benety and their first saids is "Start". But my TR6 can't
start.

I did these -
put carbs in,
choke is "off",
new fuel hoses,
distributor has new rotor/condenser/points, all plugs are good (.030). I
use my timer light and all plugs flash good. BTDC is 10 deg.
I check valves (.010) and all good.
I get a new battery (Optima)
But no start.
Did I get good or did I forget something???
