I got the engine on the stand tonight. I had to put the rear engine plate
on to align four holes with the arms of the stand. I used the two starter
holes and one hole near where the clutch slave cylinder attaches since they
were all 3/8". The fourth one was a 5/16" hole but I think I'm pretty
secure. The soda media blaster comes on Saturday and my body guy wants to
get a couple coats of DP4 primer on it on Sunday. The Ratco frame is to be
shipped out on Monday so things seem to be happening all at once.
I also picked up my Koa wood dash from Randy at Prestige Autowood in San
Jose. I'll post some pictures soon but I can tell you that it looks
unbelievable. I also bought an accent piece that fits in the switch plinth
and looks just as nice.
