Andy-A common way to solve the problem is make 4 punch marks (with a center punch) around the id of the hub. Make the marks at 90 intervels. This raises the surface around the punch marks and should provide a tight enough fit to prevent the outer race from rotating. Kind of like knurling a piston. Another alternative might be #609 loctite, which is used to retain bearings. Berry Price. |
