Joe Curto sent BCC needles for my HS6 conversion as he didn't have any BAEs in
stock. My carbs were out of a UK Triumph sedan and came with BBTs I recall.
Car is thirstier, but maybe that's more the early PI profile cam.
If your carbs are from a Volvo check your float bowl angles carefully - bowls
must be straight up and down on installation. A buddy had issues installing
these on his 6 - fuel leaked out the top. Joe has the parts to fix this.
You can get different spring weights - red or yellow tipped springs. Someone
else may be able to comment if this makes any difference.
