Gas tank question

I went through that a few years ago, used a tank sealer, forgot which brand, 
following the instructions and no problem since. A welder friend used to weld 
them and over time other pinholes would show up. He now swears by it. The 
sealer leaves a coatin that fills any voids and when cured resists all types of 
fuels.
