So I came across a used hood that was in great shape but
FedEx banged it in transit, crunching the front edge in a
spot pretty well. My reading in Williams and on VTR.org has
told me that its pretty useless to try to repair a TR6 hood
since it has the double skin, particularly around the edges,
making it so you can't hammer it cleanly.
FedEx only wants to reimburse me $100. The question, is the
hood repairable by a professional for a reasonable cost
and/or effort or should it make its way to the junk pile?
Here are the pics:

Thanks, if you haven't guessed I am scavenging parts
everywhere I can. So far I've chopped my budget to half off
retail which makes me pretty happy.
Speaking of which, still looking for a front passenger side
outer wing and new floorboards :)
