Jeff, FWIW, years ago - in the 50's - , when living in New Zealand, my uncle who had an auto dealership told me (when discussing a TR2) that the company was Standard-Triumph, and the TR stood for Triumph Roadster. I've always gone with that, but I have no idea how accurate it is. Ken 73 TR6 |
