I have no information concerning the seller or the manufacturer of the part
listed but have independently had a machinist friend manufacture an identical
part from steel for me (not for sale). I had this done to try to stop a
persistent leak around the bottom of the timing chain cover/front of the oil
pan that I have had for several years. Last time I checked the screws on the
one in my car they were loose and attempts to tighten them revealed they were
stripped. I checked with TRF and they said they had 3 in stock at $39.95 but I
figured I might as well have one made our of a stronger material. I have had
this new part in my trunk for about a month and will report the results as soon
as I get around to installing it.
