I'm lazy. I used a brass tubing fitting from the hardware store. You know, the threaded, hex-head thing with a smooth hole through the center. Find one that fits the rod and the hole (they don't have to fit that well). I added a film of grease and held it in place with a nylon cable tie around the threaded portion. Has worked fine for 5Kmi or so. Oh, yeah... I'm also cheap. Doug Morris '74 TR6 |
