The 1/2" water pump I purchased through the VB sale came in a County Brand

maybe it will be alright.
I wouldn't worry, Bruce. There's a lot of good quality stuff coming out of
India these days. GKN Hardy Spicer, never a name to abandon quality in
favour of cost, source a lot of Land Rover and other driveline stuff from
the sub-continent. On an entirely non-LBC level, their electronics are
pretty good too. Ten years ago, I helped a German electronics firm in its
sourcing for complex printed circuit boards. Best price we could get in
Europe was GBP14.00 (about $28) a board plus shipping. The Indians came up
with a far superior product that was indistinguishable from the European
equivalent for GBP3.00 (US$6.00) delivered to Frankfurt. Over the years the
Indian product has been consistently reliable, hardly any warranty
failures - and the price is still the same!!!!!!!!
