Bob -
When your doors stop making this noise, your door check strap
is no longer functioning properly and if you're not careful, the
next time you open your door, it will swing all the way 'round
and a) put a crease in the door, and b) possibly damage the front
fender at the same time (*). A little white grease on the strap
and its' environs may make it a little quieter.
