Spin-on oil filter adaptor

Anyone have problems getting the spin-on oil filter adaptor to quit
leaking?

I just installed one (from my 74 TR6) on to my 76 TR6 using a new outter
o-ring from Moss.

When I cranked the engine the adaptor leaked alot. Tried tightening the
bolt which helped but it still leaked a steady stream.

Anyone had any issues with the Moss o-ring? Mine looked fine.
