6 Pack,
Hey guys I'm looking for information about the flexible coupling on steering
shaft, that rubber thing with the four bolts going through it which connects
the upper and lower steering shafts.
The one I pulled off has two regular hex head bolts on one end and two allen
head bolts on the other end. The allen head bolts are counter bored into the
aluminum while the hex heads fit flush with no counter bores.
The replacement part purchased has it set up for all four bolts to be
counter sunk, which of course I'd like to go back to the original type.
Looking in the Moss catalogue, it mentions one with counter bores (667-385)
for four allen head bolts (I assume this has four counter bores) and one for
no counter bores for two allen head bolts( does this one have no counter bores
as specified or two like what I had originally with two?).
Thanks for any advice, I guess I could wait and call TFR on Monday, but I
can be rather impatient.
