I am having to repair or replace the portion of the frame on my TR6 that
supports the front of the suspension (trail arm box) Both sides (both trail
arm boxes) are riddled with rust holes (especially where the though bolts are
connected) My question is: with the body on the frame (car jacked up) would
it be easier to repair (weld) the trail arm box or to cut out the trail arm
box and weld in a new one. Also has anyone cut one out and replaced one. How
long does the replacement take and how difficult is it?

Any info/assistance would be greatly appreciated.
