Gary,
Yes it does.....I just got back from another run.....I can now confirm that 
the problem is not electrical.  I have "too rich" smoke at the tailpipe even 
after 5 minutes of run time....the choke is definitely off.  It bucks, coughs, 
spits in nearly any gear below 2000 rpm but if I get the revs up, I can launch 
it at nearly full throttle like a rocket with no lack of performance.
One of the 6 Pack guys suggested looking into different needles....that 
appears to be a real possibility so that's where I'm heading next if I can find 
a 
resource to learn more about "performance needles".
