The body mount at the very rear of the frame will control you door gaps at the
top of the B post. Loosen the body mounting bolts on the top of the rear shelf
and in the trunk floor. Also, loosen the rear mounting points as well. Place
a 2X4 under the rear of the trunk floor and jack up the body. You should see
the door gaps close. Insert enough aluminum spacers into the extreme rear
mounting points to fill the space and tighten everything down. That should
improve things.

Looking at a very nicely restored TR6. Everything is great and very nicely
done, except that the gap at the top rear of the door is notably larger than
the bottom. What should I look at? There is no hint of rust on the
rockers, frame or anywhere else. Is it possible that some shims were not
replaced when the body was off the frame, or is it a sign of something
worse?
