OK, I just read Bob Lang's note which clarified things (Thanks, Bob, as 
always).  But one question--I understand that the GL5 is bad for the brass 
synchro 
rings, but is it OK for the diff?  Are there brass parts in there?  Since 
there is no drain plug in the diff, emptying it is harder than the trans.

I will get MTL for the trans tomorrow at a local dealer that Redline lists as 
carrying their products.  But do I need MT90 for the diff?
