Thanks to all who replied.
I am so close to having my car back on the road that I can already smell the
gas and taste the oil, or is that smell the oil and taste the gas... oh well,
you know what I mean.
I didn't make my goal to have it on the road last Friday which was one year to
the day I wrecked it. I am saving a bent headlight rim to hang above my work
bench to remind me to leave more room between me and the car ahead, especially
when the car ahead is a Volvo with anti-lock brakes.
I would have made my goal, but for the fact that my Mother-in-Law had a wreck,
and we have been at her house 3 weekends over the last six weeks to visit and
get her situated. I decided not to worry about it because it is a hobby, and
to have pressed myself would have made it a job.
It has been a lot of work, but some of the most rewarding time in my life.
When finished, it will make me proud.
