I still run the original redlines that my '76 came with from the factory.
Obiously they have low (only have 30,000) miles on them but still no checks,
cracks or any sort of breakdown. Truly an amazing tire. Yes indeed, hard as
rock. I have considered a replacement set of wheels and tires for the sunday
drives to preserve the originals. One would think this to be a bad idea due to
the fact that the rubber will obviously breakdown in time. I am not so sure at
