Hi all,
It was raining this morning so I didn't get to the car until mid-afternoon.
I removed the tachometer and installed the "spare" tachometer and WOW, what
a difference !!
Now at 65MPH (as indicated on the speedo) the tach indicates a smidgen over
2800 RPM (nearly 850 RPM difference between the two tachs ! !!) ! If you
recall the other tach was indicating 3650 RPM.
I don't believe either of them but I think you guys have taught me something
important. I should stop worring about the small stuff like engine rpms.
Now, which way do the bolts go that hold the engine mounts to the frame?
Bolt head toward the front of the car or the rear. And is it the same for
both sides of the car?
Smiling,
Dave Herbert
