Miata Seats in a 6

Has anyone out there installed Miata seats or actually seen Miata seats
installed in a TR6?   How successful is this?  Procedures?  I don't know the
Miata seat dimensions.

A corvette parts vendor told me the C4 series seats are 21 inches wide.   I
measure my 6 seats as 18 >" wide on the bottoms, so I'm doubtful there's
space for vette seats.

I'm exploring options before deciding to re-build my existing seats.
