I've agonized over the placement of the upper fulcrum bracket since I rebuilt my front suspension, worried if I placed it backwords. When looking from the wheel in towards the engine bay, should the bracket be curved toward you (opposite the curvature of the upper shock mount- the way I did it, the way Roger Williams describes), or should it curve toward the engine (matching the curvature of the upper shock mount- the way a photo I saw shows)?
