Just4---It's strange that the gears wouldn't grind as you tried different ones. However, my guess is that you are low in fluid in the clutch Master cylinder, and you are pumping air to get the clutch to release, thus allowing gear change. After checking the fluid level in the clutch MC reservoir, you can also measure to throw of the pushrod coming out of the Slave Cylinder. When all is well, the rod should move a half inch or more when the pedal is depressed to the floor. Dick |
