I don't come to Hawaii very often, but I would not be interested in renting
a TR6. Don't get me wrong I love TR6's and I drive my car often - almost
daily.
MY thoughts:
On vacation in Hawaii I would choose a ragtop, but I would be more
interested in the comfort and reliability of a modern ragtop. While there
are some great roads on the islands, I don't come there for the driving
experience. If it rains buckets, I have wipers and defrosters that work
efficiently and I don't cook with the top up. I also don't want to abuse a
fragile classic car I'm driving if I take a dirt, rough or muddy road to get
to a secluded beach. When on vacation, there is something to be said about
30 - 40 years of technological evolution of a modern ragtop.

I want to start off by saying I'm not sure of the protocol is here so if
I've crossed any lines, my apologies up front and it won't happen again.
Through my new acquisition, I've recently thought how nice it might be for
all the people out there that drive British sports cars and travel to Hawaii
to have one available here when they visited. At this point, I'm just
exploring it but thought whom better than all of you to let me know whether
this is a viable opportunity.
