Wayne,

I drained and dried mine then cut plywood panels to fit the fin area. Tied
the panels on with bailing wire and pushed clean rags in the In/Out ports
and set it aside

If it's dry and clean there should be no problem with letting it sit.

What is the best way to store the radiator off the car?
I just removed the engine for a re-build and in the process, I drained the
radiator and removed it from the car. Should I fill it up with
water/antifreeze again while it sits waiting for me to finish my rebuild
through the winter?
