actually, does anyone know off the top of their head the stock bore and
stroke on the TR6?

I have always felt that unless you are tuned to the Nth degree,and
looking for that last bit of power, you are wasting a future rebuild to
bore any farther than the smallest oversize required to clean up the
bores. The extra displacement just won't be a big enough power
difference to be noticeable over a stock bore. Save your block for
another day, and put your money into the head, a good balance of the
rotating bits, and a header.
It would be good bragging rights to be at 2.7 though.
