I tried that and made the front and rear systems common. Got good
brake feel but randomly at different pedal heights. Seemed safe
enough but was awkward to use.
If you are prepared to live without the warning lite but still
have separate systems you would have to mechanically plug up the
internal shuttle valve passageway from both sides.
