Damper oil

Hello,
One of my Zenith stromberg Carbs is losing its Damper oil. I bought two new
O-Rings. Yesteday I removed the Metering needle but there is no O-ring. Is the
O-ring supposed to be on top of the metering needle? Or is it under the Idle
adjusting screw? If so, how can I remove the "retaining ring" to remove the
screw? Any help would be very welcome!
