Thanks for the compliment
I am running the Michelin MX4 215/65 R16 It ends up with a inflated
diameter of 26.5" I believe this to be 1/2" bigger than stock?--- can
someone please confirm this?----when I was reworking the instruments I
decided to do a little shoot from the hip style calibration by removing the
needle and reinstalling it back about 3-4 MPH I must have got real lucky
because when I pass by this local Robocop that displays your speed, I am
dead nuts accurate.---When I first installed the new wheel/tire assm. I was
shocked and thought I went too big but after I installed the bumpers, I was
very pleased, especially the the ride that an almost perfect alloy wheel
runout provides.---- Because of the zero wheel offset the interference
encountered is the use of clip on weights on the top "A" arms so I use tape
weights.----As far as performance goes all I can say is it's a heck of alot
better ride and handling than my 76 six with the stock steel wheels and the
PO installed uniroyal 195/75 R15's
