I've tried a lot of oils over the years, and I highly recommend Red Line's
"MTL". If you go with more conventional lube, use something that's rated
GL4, not GL5. Red Line sells a 80/90 lube that fits this bill too. But if
you don't have O/D, I highly reccommend the MTL.

??? The thing that matters is the tranny number. If that number is the
tranny number, then a call to John Esposito at Quantum Mechanics will get
you what you need. Bottom line - you'll probably wind up sending him your
synchro hub and old gear to get the "correct" one for your tranny.
Last point - you do know that if you replace the main shaft gear that you
need to replace the corresponding layshaft gear, as they are "matched
sets"... right?
Good luck!
