TR-6 Door Check Straps.

Hello listers,

I insatlled new check straps and noticed that when the door is fully opened
it works fine. But when I go to close the door. It seems a little bit hard
and I hear a loud clunking noise.

Has anyone had this experience before? Any information would be greatly
appreciated.
