Mitch---There should be enough adjustment in your rocker studs to accommodate the (approx?) .060 you had shaved from the head. Of course you will run into spring resistance at some of the valves at you try to screw down the rocker pedestals. This is normal, as you in effect are opening these valves. I would not recommend shimming up the pedestals. This will change the geometry of the rockers where it wipes the valve stems. I'll send you more on this if it's not clear Dick T. |
