The scariest part of your message is the fact that the folks at Victoria
British "couldn't tell me if they are applicable for tubeless
or tube-type tires". Ouch!
I don't have the VB catalog at hand (and perhaps it doesn't specify), but I
assume that these are 5.5"-wide wheels. Nothing wrong with that, but if
you're going to the expense of aftermarket wheels you might want to consider
getting something wider than stock.
