Ryan---You didn't say exactly where the slack in the pushrod is. I'll
assume it isn't in sides of the pushrod that the clevis pin goes thru.
There should not be any slack between the pushrod and the MC itself. The
clutch return mechanism should hold the pushrod up against the snap
(retainer) ring. The pushrod may droop slightly, but should not be the
source of any lost motion. When you get the pedal box re-installed and
put the system under hydraulic pressure again, you should find no play,
other than some accumulated loss due to tolerances from pedal box parts,
usually less than 1/16".
