Rick----It is confusing to try to follow the Comp. Prep. Manual in the area of figuring out how much to mill off to achieve a certain Compression Ratio. You are certainly in the ball park with your number of 3.40. My figures came out to 3.415 but this doesn't seem to be an exact science. Only decking the block and c.c.-ing the head will get one closer to what the CR really is. Much to much work to go thru for just a street-prepared engine. Dick T. '73 |
