Would a charcoal canister, that would be full of whatever it gets filled
with as the car runs, be a possible offender and the cause of lack of
fuel delivery to the carbs? My theory might sound far fetched, but let
me just put it out there on the list for discussion purposes.
"Let us say that all the hoses are secured and all is bolted down and
tight. Therefor the there should be no vacuum leaks. The vent canister
for the gasoline is hooked up to the charcoal canister as it should be.
But if the charcoal canister is filled and blocked then the gasoline
vent will not work making the mechanical fuel pump work harder and
restricting the flow of fuel to the carb bowls."
Any thoughts?
