Steve---The factor plug can be difficult to remove when the gearbox cover is still in place. Since this is a tapered plug, it isn't necessary to see how tight one can make it (as service station attendants sometimes do.) Berry's advice about replacing this with a hex head plug makes this job much easier. MOSS has the ones with a magnetic tip, if this interests you. Let's hope the "square" drive on the stubborn plug will still accept the new socket you've ordered. Dick T '73 |
