Further Info The Landcrab Owners Club International is a UK based club for all owners of the
BMC-1800/2200 range. This car is known as the "Landcrab" because of its wide body and
the fact that in the sixties it was well known to travel sideways in the hands of
marathon-drivers like Paddy Hopkirk. The car uses the famous Moulton Hydrolastic
Liquid suspension for superior handling and comfort. The body is extremely strong
and the engine is the rugged BMC 1800 B series engine or a 2200cc OHVsix. The club
has members in the UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Australia. Club members
have taken part in reruns of famous rallies like the London-Sidney Marathon and
London Mexico World Cup Rally.
There is a Clubmagazine called Landcrab News, clubregalia, an excellent spares
service and national and local meetings.
