' Love those cars, and really thought they screwed it up in '56 with the tacky add-on fins. Then they made it alright again in '57, and eventually I came to see the '56s in their historical context and even like them almost as much as the '55s. My maiden aunt from Tucson bought a brand new '55 Dodge Coronet Lancer tri-tone two-door hardtop and when she visited us in Minneapolis, she let me take it as my exclusive transportation for the whole time. Man, I'd crank all the windows down (in those pre-A/C days) and for about ten days, I'd really strut around in it and really BE somebody! Memory has it that it was pretty fast too. You can see one the same colors at <a href="http://www.boldride.com/ride/1955/dodge-coronet-lancer-hardtop">http://www.boldride.com/ride/1955/dodge-coronet-lancer-hardtop</a>.<div><br></div><div>David, is your Plymouth like this one? These were really timeless designs. I'd love to have one, although they hardly compare with our Magnettes in the handling department. </div><div><br></div><div>Oh... yeah... adhesive... I'd like to hear the group opinion on this too as I still have the arrowhead rubber trim to put on Geraldine's doors. ' Seems to me this topic came up a few months ago and the consensus was that there isn't any good stuff sold in the US anymore. ' Would be interested in hearing any updates on the topic.</div><div><br></div><div>Allen<br>
