          I sounds like there are two separate issues.<br>
          On your ZB, the Dome light should have a brown wire with a
      green tracer to power it and a brown wire with black tracer to the
      door switches to ground it.  This will be energized all the time
      not just when the key is turned on, so I would recommend checking
      out your connections to the dome light.<br>
          The turn signal issue is most likely incorrect wiring at the
      direction indicator relay unit.  Here is a diagram of just the
      unit that may help you.  On my own car, the cover was on the unit
      incorrectly so when I thought I was attaching a wire to terminal 1
      it was actually terminal 8.  If you look at the factory shop
      manual diagram, the Direction Indicator Relay Unit, it shows the
      coils and relay points - with the diagram I enclosed, you should
      be able to determine if your relay unit has had the cover
      installed wrong or not. <br>
