It has a maxda 5 speed gear box (vitesse) which has a different shift leaver mechanism that a stock tr6. No longer can a lower boot hold the upper boot in position. Up to now the gear shift boot just sort of hung there, with a gap. What would work would be to epoxy or otherwise glue the rubber boot/ leather gaitor to the pedestal itself. If anyone out there can visualize what am talking about, or is familiar with the problem Iam open for suggestions. I tried modifying a lower boot but that didn't work. There is nothing for the lower boot to mount to, and the shift lever has an offset which also causes issues.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div></body></html>
