The best advice that is generally given is to buy the best car you can afford and go from there. Or as a dearly departed member once said. If you find a rust bucket you think you can restore; buy it junk it and go buy a restored car. You'll be dollars ahead.</div>

<div>Hi,
<div>I’ve only been a member for a couple of years now and drive a 1980 spitfire and was looking to move into a TR3.</div>
<div>Is there anyone who could give me some advice on what the cost versus condition might be or what I should be looking for in a TR3. </div>
<div>I appreciate any help/ advice </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Thanks </div>
