So, you must have an overdrive equipped car! Great! Non overdrive cars do not require the angle drive.

If you have an angle drive, it must have a washer in order to avoid failures such as you are experiencing. Go to Moss Motors part no. 021-511 “Instructions and Resources” for a description of this washer.

Speedometer cable broke, actually the angle speedometer cable connection to the transmission broke. Installed a new one today speedometer worked for about 50 miles and then it broke again. Anyone have any experience with this and know what might be causing it to break.?
