Subject: [WPTA] Washington County Tour notes

As usual, the tour is a "rain or shine" event.  While it looks a bit wet,
for tomorrow morning, the afternoon is forecast to be dry.  So, no
"wimping-out" on this one!

 

IMPORTANT:  PADOT has made a mess of the entrance to my driveway and made it
the same as a 4" high curb.  So, EZ does it and come across it at a shallow
angle, to save exhaust systems, wheels & tires and frames.  Come in SLOWLY
and AT AN ANGLE and it's pretty easy.  Forget and come it fast and, well....

 Turns out, I won't be attending today.? There wasn't enough time in three days to straighten ever thing out and take it for a test drive.? Guess I'll weight until May 30 for my first run.

For those planning on attending Import Carlisle, and looking for a serious backroads run, I will once again be leading that group.

We will meet for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in New Stanton, Pa.

154 W. Pennsylvania Ave., New Stanton, Pa. 15672.

Meeting Time: 8 AM Friday May 15TH, at the Cracker Barrel,

Departure Time: 9 AM

We will be traveling mostly on scenic backroads into the Carlisle Fairgrounds.

Lunch will be on top of the mountain outside of Breezewood (a very scenic overlook).
