I was searching around the internet and found an alternative from a company called Limora, based in Germany, I believe. Long story short, I spoke with the US office today located in MI ( https://www.engelimports.com/en/?gad_source=1) that they sell a clear glass windscreen for About $250 (US) and with shipping, the total would be $375. They can pack three windshields in one box and in doing so can sell them for $175 ea. plus $200 for shipping for all three. Or, about $242 ea. and I assume there will be tax. I believe I may have one taker and wanted to ask if anyone else is interested in getting in on this. If the total units changes up or down, the numbers will vary. So, once I hear back from everyone, I can let you know what these will cost. These are NOT Triplax windshields, and I just consulted the TRA concours book and they don't specify that they are required if you are building a show car. But then again, I think I'm the only one doing that:) Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in a new windshield. I will place the order and would like to be paid in advance so I don't have all these $$ hanging out there. Knowing how many of you Triumph guys chase parts, I would guess taking three with two spoken for, you can market the third one and offset your cost. Nice that you are putting it out there. After some internal discussions, they decided that they cannot pack three to a box as they were concerned about breakage. They are offering the standard clear windshield shipping to W PA (from Germany) for $250 (including shipping). Outside of MI they do not charge sales tax. I ordered one to see how they are. Got some positive feedback on them, so let's see how this compares to what I bought from our domestic supplier last year for my TR3. If you have any interest in one of these, you can contact Rick Termolen at Engel Imports. His direct dial is 269-353-5251. They are located in Kalamazoo, MI and stock some parts there. I purchased wind wings from them last year and they were delivered in just a few days from Germany. I should have my windshield by the end of next week and will send some pics of it once received. So, just like on the ?77 thru ?80 models that came with this transmission, you have to put it on a lift, or at least get it up on jack stands, to check transmission oil level. Not a big deal, really. I did find one bad synchronizer which is probably why the guy said he didn't know anything about it. One good thing is the actual transmission itself is the same as a non-syncro with the exception of the mainshaft. So if anything is messed up in there, the regular 4 speeds are dime a dozen. I would go through it before going to the trouble of installation but that's me. On 04/18/2025 8:59 AM EDT EDWARD WOODS via Wpta wrote: Yes, It will work on a ?68 MGB.
