[WPTA] Front Springs and Shocks

Kevin -

I have the springs on my Spitfire from an earlier era (1970) and have not
had a problem. I have adjustable shocks set at Full Soft.

The earlier springs lowered the nose back down to pre-1974 ride height.
Triumph put a larger spring on the front to raise the ride height to meet
Federal Ride Height Standards.

The internet (Facebook in particular) is generally a wealth of
misinformation.

Have you looked at the Triumph Experience Forum and/or the Spitfire and GT6
webpage?

Within the WPTA, you have a wealth of knowledge in one Gary Fredo who has
had numerous Spitfires over the years. Gary and I both worked on your
Spitfire sometime in 2018.

Let me look thru my notes, and I will follow up with you on the shocks that
I installed on my Spitfire.

Give me a day or two.
