If your looking for something to do this Wednesday, Nov 6th between 6 and 6:30pm the Laurel Highlands British Car Club (LHBCC) is having their monthly dinner meeting at 814 Lanes in Greensburg (4589 State Rt 136). 

I have been attending this event with many of the same people that show up for the WPTA East breakfast. It?s always a great time with good food, beverages and cars. Looking forward to seeing you then.

Rocky Mountain Garage Tour

When I was at Ken Paterson's recent event, new member Jeff Prycl offered to host a garage tour at his shop in New Stanton.

Jeff owns and operates Rocky Mountain Garage, 413 Rocky Mountain Rd., New Stanton, PA 15672


  *   His building is located at the intersection of Rocky Mountain & Wigham Rd.

This new event is now on the WPTA calendar for Noon - 4PM on Saturday Nov. 16. Jeff will be providing lunch. Bring your own drinks and a chair.

                ***There will be a $ 5 charge per person to offset the cost of lunch***

Jeff is into TVRs in a very big way (having more than 30).

The Club currently boasts of 4 TVR owners, Ray Santini 2500 Vixon, Bill Cooper several, Bruce Stutzman Taimar and Randy Phillipi Chimaera. Now, with Jeff as a member, we increased our TVR count ten-fold.

A clarifying question, the newsletter mentions 727 Arona Road which is the
location of the business on his website but your email suggests 413 Rocky

I wish I could join yinz, tomorrow!  But, I?m (slowly ?) recovering from a fall I took (stupid is as stupid does?.) and work has been piling up, as a result.  So, while you guys are out having fun, I?ll be doing ?stuff? around the house & grounds.

I have decided it may be time to thin the herd.   I'm posting this here for anyone in the club that may be interested.  I have a 1980 TR8 that was acquired from fellow member Ed Woods many years ago.   It is a genuine TR8 not a clone. No rust, Persian Aqua, Black interior with gray velour seat inserts and carpet.   It is not a concours original type car however.  There are too many modifications to list here.  4.0 Engine, Suspension, Brakes, Quaif differential.  It is fast but dependable and fun to drive.  Some in the club know the car and have said it's the fastest Triumph in the WPTA.  IDK if that is true or not.  I'm pricing it at 20K.  I won't be aggressively advertising it to the public until Spring.  Thanks Jim.
