I have attached pics of most parts and do have a few other items not pictured, so if you are looking for anything, please give me a call. I have not listed any prices as at this time, I am open to reasonable offers on these parts. Most items are at or near my home in Mars, PA. The body is being stored in Somerset. If you have any interest in anything, please drop me a note or give a call. Summary of items: 1. complete rolling chassis - frame will need some work on the front horns but otherwise pretty decent 2. Engine and transmission - engine is for rebuilding; I cleaned and partially rebuilt the transmission and ran it in my TR3A while that one was being rebuilt 3. Old clutch and flywheel 4. Two transmission tunnels (good to a free home) 5. TR3 small mouth apron; blasted and in epoxy primer 6. Four doors; one TR3A (with handle) three TR3 7. Two disk brake dust shields 8. 1956 TR3 body (partial) - some salvagable parts. We can load this for you. One door and front apron are removed but in parts group 9. Quinlan, was a longtime volunteer for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, and as a friend of Alan R. (?Pat?) Patterson, was one of the original volunteers. My dad also was Pat?s mechanic when he raced Formula B, and later worked on his Elva and Lotus. I enjoyed working on Pat?s cars with my dad. My dad passed in 2018, and after everything was sorted out and Covid passed, I was finally able to start clearing out my parent?s home, which I now own. There is a hardtop for a Triumph Spitfire, as well as a luggage rack and (I believe) a bonnet for either the Spitfire or the TR7. I don?t know the years for either car, although I used to own the TR7 before my dad purchased it from me and won a few car show trophies. Anyway, I wonder if someone associated with the PVGP would be able to use them, and if so, I would like to donate them to the PVGP. After sitting for a long time, they need to be cleaned up (and rubber gaskets may need to be replaced), but look to be in good condition. Let me know. I had placed some articles in the club?s newsletters and this is a reminder that the tour is this Saturday. We will start at the Old Sears parking lot on Dworman Way, in Union Twp, New Castle PA. If you need to use a GPS to locate the starting point use Sheetz 2604 W. State St. New Castle PA 16101. The Sears parking lot is Kaddy-corner to the Sheetz and across from the Sheetz on Dworman Way is a Bob Evans if you are interested in a breakfast to start the Tour. The Group will gather at 10:15am on Saturday May 25, 2024 and star the tour at 10:30 am. If you are a member of the NCTA or SOBErie, as I am, and you do not wish to start in New Castle, you can meet us at the pit stop, The Pymatuning State Park off of Rte. 322 out of Jamestown. From there you can tour with us to the Cobblehaus at the Falls Brewery at 1015 Leesburg Station Road Mercer PA 16137 near the Grove City Outlet Mall. Or if you prefer not to drive that far south, I have available a short tour to go to Mortals Key Brewery. There was an early article that I posted to meet newsletter deadlines as I was developing the Tour that mentioned a second pit stop in Conneaut PA, we will not be going through Conneaut and there will be no pit stop there. Cobblehaus at the Falls is a unique scenic brewery located on the Leesburg Falls. You can see some beautiful photos at Cobblehaus.com/at-the-falls. They offer craft beer, seltzers, and cocktails; however, their food is from a food truck which changes daily and weekly. You are more than welcome to bring a picnic basket and sit down at the falls or inside and take in the view through the many windows. I would like a count of those who may join us at Cobblehaus, send me a text or email if you plan on joining the group at Cobblehaus at the Falls. 724-977-0938 or dpledford at gmail.com. If you prefer a more traditional restaurant there are plenty in the area: Rachels or the Iron Bridge on Rte. 19 N, Timbercreek, Fat Edy?s or My Brothers Place on Rte208 E, or if you enjoy outdoor craft brewery?s there is Big Rail Brewing on Rte. 258 south of 208 who has a Bar-B-Que scheduled food truck. So far, the weather looks promising for a top-down day. Let?s hope it continues as this has been a rainy spring. *Patrick Ledford* -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The attached photos are of the old alternator, which I think is not an original part (no markings on it except "made in USA"). The wiring harness (3rd photo attached) has 6 wires emerging, two of which go to the current alternator. One of the two wires going to alternator is brown, and the second is brown/white (4th photo attached). Now the new alternator (purchased a few years back from Roadster Factory) has instructions to replace the original 5 wire with 3 wire, but the instructions don't seem to match the current wiring in my car. I'm hesitant to guess on the wiring for fear of damaging the new device or, worse, the wiring harness in the car. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
